An Uphill Climb

As Edgar and I work toward putting our marriage back together I find that is it an uphill climb. Not just any hill either a straight uphill.

We spent the weekend falling in love again if that’s possible. Do you ever really fall out of love? I don’t think that we did so much as we got so busy ignoring each other that we forgot the love part.

When I called him at work this morning he answered “Hey baby.” I can’t remember the last time he called me baby. The sound of that simple word brought me to tears. Being wife was something I use to think I did well but now I realize that if one word can bring me such joy then I need to work harder.

It may be an uphill climb but we are taking step by step hand in hand. Thats’s all we can do.
