I will be the first to admit I am new to the avocado toast craze. I spent years seeing it on social media and such but never tried it until this week. I couldn’t figure out what I wanted for breakfast and ended up just making this. Now, I will say that mine is super simple.
However, you can do so much with avocado toast. In all honesty the only limits you have with this is your imagination. I have seen it with tomatoes, basil, pesto, various cheeses, olive oil, avocado oil, butter, the list is endless.
Avocado Toast

Ingredients
- 1 slice bread I prefer whole-grain bread
- 1/2 sliced ripe avocado
- 1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
- Any extra toppings you would like
Instructions
- Toast your slice of bread until preferred doneness
- Remove the pit from avocado. Use a big spoon to scoop out flesh. Slice avocado in half and then take half and slice into pieces. You can mash avocado if you prefer.
- Put slices of avocado on toast and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning

I found that I enjoyed this breakfast far more than I thought I would. This would also be a great snack when I need something a little more but am rushed on time. I think next time I may add a little flavored butter or mayo on the bread to add a little something extra.

I love Avocado toast and have even ordered it at restaurants! But there was fancier than at home with heirloom tomatoes and overeasy egg.
