Bitsy’s Brainfood

Finding snacks that your children will not only but enjoy that aren’t full of junk can be difficult. That is where Bitsy’s Brainfood comes in. Bitsy’s Brainfood is the world’s first  smart snack for kids (although adults may like them as well) that not only tastes good but also nurtures kids’ bodies, minds, and imaginations. The idea is that kids will crave the right foods and Bitsy’s help them learn by having letter shaped cookies.

We received two flavors to try out and I will say that I was really nervous about the Lemon Broccoli one. My children will eat broccoli when it has a lot of cheese but I knew that if they even saw the name n the box there was simply no way this was going to happen. So I did what any self respecting mother would do and put them into a cookie jar. The truth is they did like them saying they tasted more like a lemon cookie than anything else. No they still don’t know!

The other flavor of Sweet Potato Oatmeal Raisin I knew would not be any problem and I was right. They were gone the second the box was opened. These I tasted as well and there is a hint of raisin flavor but no actual raisins so I enjoyed them. The kids also really loved the shapes of the cookies and enjoyed spelling out words as they were eating them.
