A few years ago, I finally redid my bedroom in colors that I enjoyed at the time. It was the first time that I didn’t put any thought into making sure that the room was “guy friendly”. When Edgar and I were together I always made sure that the bedroom reflected colors that he would enjoy. Nothing too feminine or overly girly. After all it was shared room. One thing I discovered (when I finally stopped the couple mentality) was that I changed so much of myself for him.

There are so many tips and tricks floating around every holiday season that you’ll end up rocking back and forth in a closet trying desperately to remember the name of that one reindeer.
