I know that I have shared with some of you before my little problem with one smelly armpit. I am not kidding it is only one and it can get pretty nasty. Especially when the summer is in full swing. I gave up stick deodorants a few years ago because they never seemed to work. However when I was sent Dove Clear Tone Deodorant in Pink Rosa I was intrigued.

Honestly it was the packaging that got me! I am a sucker for a pretty package and this was full of dried roses! Not to mention the beautiful tea set and rose tea that you see above. It is simply heavenly and I love it but not as much as the girls do.

Now back to the deodorant! First the scent is flowery but it is not overpowering. It is very subtle and nice. I worry about that because I know people have allergies and I don’t want anyone sneezing because of a deodorant. I put it on and thought I would give a whirl.

After wearing it for a few hours I did the only test I could do and raised my arm taking a big sniff. Nothing but roses! How awesome is that? Not only did my armpit smell great but that nasty black stain that usually ends up under my shirt was not there! I could not be happier with Dove Clear Tone Deodorant in Pink Rosa.

  1. I like Dove soap smell so not sure about the rose scent. Not into the flowery scents. I’m blessed not to have too much of a sweat problem with my extremely dry skin (the opposite problem). Hope to get a sample size somewhere–I’ll watch for it.

  3. I like Dove products and I love the smell of these products because they are not overwhelming. I use Dove products and think the deodorant and the shampoo is very good.

  4. You addressed my concern right away. I was concerned it’d leave me smelling like a rose garden. Although better than the alternative, I wouldn’t want anyone to smell me coming – even if it were akin to a flower garden. Sometimes less is more and from what you wrote, this fits that bill.

  5. You have convinced me that I need to get this for my daughter. She is at that teen stage where some days you can smell her a mile away. She has tried several other brands and is not to happy with them. I know she won’t have a skin reaction because we use Dove soap. Thanks!

  6. I have not seen this deodorant at the store, but I am going to be on the look out because I need one that works well and I hate stained clothes from perspiration. I like the smell of roses and perhaps this is not too strong. Thank you for this review and letting me know about a new product, I shall try.
