More wonderful music today! We are already huge fans of Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band and are thrilled that after only three albums for kids and families they have released a Greatest Hits!
The latest album, ¡Fantastico! takes a look back of some of the best songs, but with a twist. For example in the song Gato Astronauta, the original song had only two Spanish words which were the title. Now with a little help from Tejano music producers Noe Benitez and Christina Martinez-Benitez, Diaz reworked it along with some other English hits into Spanish.
What that means is that my kids can sing along now in two languages! They really love that many of their favorite songs are now in their language. There is one new track on the album and with it Diaz has taken the traditional Latin American children’s singing game La Vibora de la mar and turned it into a wonderful bubbly pop song.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I know my daughters Spanish teacher is always playing Spanish music in her class for the kids. This might be a good one for her to play if it has both languages. The kids might enjoy it more because they would understand it better. I will have to mention it to her. Thanks!
