Smart Ones Oatmeal Review and Giveaway

I LOVE oatmeal! I have since I was a kid and my mom would make plain oatmeal taste better by adding colors and flavors. Oatmeal is just one of those foods that sticks with you and is perfect on a cold winter morning. I don’t always have the time though to really make oatmeal and I am not crazy about adding luke warm water to an instant packet.

So when I got the chance to try out Smart Ones Frozen Oatmeal I thought why not? I mean it couldn’t be as bad an the instant packets could it? Smart Ones Oatmeal is a  new oatmeal made with steel-cut and rolled oats, real fruit and granola that can be found in the frozen aisle in heat and eat cups. I like that they come in the heat and eat cups because there are some mornings when we are really rushed and I have to eat my breakfast at the desk.

I tried the Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal because I love Maple and Brown Sugar! This was more than I expected it to be as it had raisins and cranberries in it which made it all the more tasty. It also took me less than 3 minutes to prepare which means I had plenty of time for other things and on a morning when we are rushed as it is this is the new perfect breakfast.  I must say though that it is great for a snack or lunch as well.
