Friday Cocktails

Jan. 22, 2021

It’s time for another edition of Friday Cocktails and this week has been full of worry and stress. I have been working towards catching up everything here on the blog. However, it seemed like every single time I sat down to work something came up. The phone would ring, there would be a meltdown, just something.

WEEKLY FINDS I LOVE

This week I skipped the Weekly Finds just because I have been so busy. Normally I sit down over the weekend and work on these but this past weekend it just didn’t happen. I told myself that 2021 was going to be the year for me. The one where at the end of it I had my stuff together or at least feel like I did. At this point I am hoping that at the end of this year I can say it started out roughly but ended better than I hoped.

  • Ordering Pizza on a Wednesday Isn’t Giving Up
Somewhere along the way, we turned pizza into a weekend event. Friday night? Pizza. Saturday movie night? Pizza. Football game? Definitely pizza. But order one on a random Wednesday afternoon and somebody always seems to ask, “What’s the occasion?” The occasion is that I’m tired. That’s enough. I’ve spent enough years thinking…

What to Know Before Buying a Hybrid Car
Hybrid cars bridge that gap between fully electric and gas engines. The two are paired within one system, allowing drivers to use one or the other depending on driving conditions.
