It’s Friday again and time for Friday Cocktails! This week has been busy but a good one. I spent last weekend and most of this week out of town due to Jeepfest. It is a huge jeeping event that my brother attends every single year. They love it and I am house sitting while they attend. I don’t normally attend this as they are the more experience Jeep people and will climb areas that freak me out. What it does mean is a few days away to relax and enjoy things.
I do have a huge conference that I will be attending next week and then another event the week after. That means traveling for me while the family is at home. I don’t travel often for work but when I do it seems like it is a lot at once, although I will admit that this year there is a bit more going on after having nothing but Zoom meetings last year. Everyone is wanting to get in touch with everyone else face to face. I am being careful and making sure I don’t have a relapse or anything.
5 FINDS THIS WEEK
This week I thought I would share a few of my favorite cookbooks. Some I have had for a while and others are newer additions. You can click any of the images to go to the items on Amazon. I love shopping on Amazon and you can find all of the items on my various lists here. I add to them all the time so be sure to check often.
My grandmother gave me her set of these books years ago. She had so many handwritten notes in them. They are my most beloved cookbooks and if you look in mine you will find my notes right next to Granny’s. If you don’t have these I highly recommend them and I always say spend the money on the hardcover of these. They will stay with you for generations and Julia Child will teach so much about cooking.

NOT ready for fall, it is always so wet here during the fall and still so hot. The humidity is terrible. I guess it is not all of fall that I dread but then middle and end of September, then it is usually ok. Crisp sweater weather and I am in NY so good apple cider everywhere.
