Friday Cocktails

Jan. 08, 2021

Friday Cocktails January 8 2021 at Rita Reviews Featured

This is something new for this year. I wanted to take a little time each week and share the week with you. Not necessarily blog posts and such but just the things going on in our lives over the week that I may not have shared at any other point. So grab a glass, cup, or bottle and let’s have a chat!

A FRESH START

It is the end of the first full week of January and I must say I am feeling pretty good about it. Things have been going well so far. Like I said it’s the first full week and Lord only knows how the rest of the month will go. One of the best things about this week for me has been that it is a fresh start. It is anew beginning which is the best things about a new year in my opinion. This is the chance to make all the changes I wanted and although I know many of them won’t be easy I’m working on them anyway.

An Old New Hobby

I am planning to crochet a blanket this year! You read that correctly. Many years ago my grandmother taught me to crocket. It took me a full summer to do a scarf and then I never picked it up again. After plenty of searching I found a blanket pattern that I love and am in the process of getting the items together I need. I will make sure to update y’all both here on the blog and on social media as I go. Hopefully it won’t take me months but lets be honest if I get this blanket finished before the end of the year we will call it a success.

WEEKLY FINDS I LOVE

This week I have been spending some time on Amazon looking for some ways to update some things in the kitchen. I found all this pretty pink items that I just fell in love with. My kitchen is actually blue, gray, and white in colors but I will be honest these pink items could to be more perfect. Maybe we will just see if they will make pretty additions to the look and feel of things. I will make sure to post pictures of anything I end up buying.
