I realize that this is early but I wanted to go ahead and wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
I am taking today and tomorrow off to spend the holiday with my family and enjoy our time together. I will be checking emails tonight but that is all. There won’t be any posts or anything until Friday. I am attempting to walk away completely for two days. I am currently getting ready to head to the grocery store for last minute food items.
PRAY FOR ME!
If you have never been to a grocery store the day before Thanksgiving let me tell you it’s like a Black Friday sale in Walmart. It is crazy but I forgot a few things so I have to brave the throng of people. You all may have to send a search party. It’s my own fault and I knew better. I also have to go to the pharmacy as well as the post office. The good news is I live in a small town so the stores shouldn’t be that crazy.
PARADE AND FOOD
Tomorrow we will stuffing ourselves full of turkey that I am making (fingers crossed) as well as watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on television. That is the sum of our day. One year, long ago, I remember going to the lighting of the Macy’s tree in Atlanta. Actually the choir that I was a part of sang and I can remember it being so cold that year. I would love to take the kids to the parade in New York but with it being just me that isn’t going to happen. I’m not saying never though cause I could find someone to go and help and we would enjoy it.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING & GOD BLESS!
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
