Cadbury High Tea

I was thrilled when I got the chance to have High Tea with Cadbury because as I have told you all before I am a big fan of British movies. The one thing I love is how they are always having high tea. I have always wanted to do that with my friends. Cadbury sent me several boxes of ice cream, a beautiful tea set, and a collection of proper British hats for us girls to have a fun-filled high tea.

High Tea Hats

First up was trying to decide on which hat to wear! I finally settled on the beautiful big red one. Everyone got dressed up and put on their hats (some where headbands with veils and such attached but super chic.) We enjoyed tea in our tea set along with cucumber finger sandwiches which I discovered I really don’t like. We had a small cake and some biscuits.

Of course the highlight was the Cadbury ice cream. Blue Bunny ice cream teamed up with Cadbury chocolate in the creation of two new premium ice cream bars; Royal Dark and English Toffee.  Now there were recipes to make using the different ice creams but to be honest how can anyone judge the taste of something when it is mixed with other foods.  We tried the following flavors:

Cadbury® Royal Dark™: Creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury Royal Dark chocolaty coating
Cadbury® English Toffee: Creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat toffee ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating with toffee pieces
Two classic favorites including:
Cadbury® Caramello™: Creamy Blue Bunny Reduced fat vanilla ice cream swirled with caramel sauce all dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating
Cadbury® Vanilla Chocolate: Creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating

My favorite was the Royal Dark although my sister loved the Caramello. All in all it was a great day with just the girls. Everyone got yo take their lovely hats home and my girls will have a beautiful tea set for their high teas.

  1. I love Cadbury! Every year I wait for the Creme Eggs! I would definitely buy a Cadbury-branded ice cream. I’m with your sister – Caramello sounds divine!

  2. Is that you under that pretty red hat? I love British movies too and watch them all the time on TCM and PBS! High Tea sounds like a lot of fun ~ and with Cadbury no less. They have wonderful chocolate, their milk chocolate is my favorite!

  3. I love the Cadbury Carmello Chocolate bars. So I can only imagine how good the ice cream bars would be. I love the rich chocolate flavor of Cadbury Chocolate. It’s the best.
