JEEPERS! It’s January Hop

I am so excited to be a part of the Jeepers It’s January hop brought to you by  The Kids Did It &  The Mommy Island. I always love being a part of these because there are always so many wonderful giveaways going on.

For Christmas we got the amazon echo dot which we are loving for so any reasons. It fits right next to the television in the living room. That was important to me because we are a tad bit limited on space. Setting it up was easy, all I had to do was download the free app and follow the instructions. One of the things that I worried about was  if the kids would be able to tell it to order things. 

You can control whether the mic is on or off which will help prevent any unwanted ordering. We keep ours off when not in use so that the kids son’t go wild with it. It takes a moment to push a button and prevents the kids from ordering things.  We play jeopardy on it and I also approved the bingo feature so we can play that later. I love that the kids can ask questions and learn. That is something they use it for often. I use it to play music, listen to my audio books and more. 

This has enriched our daily lives which I can say that few electronics  do anymore. I am more than comfortable allowing the kids to use it for certain things. While Ma and my uncle can have help from the computer without having the know how. I like it enough that I am giving one to a lucky reader. I know that you will love it as much as I do.
