Kid’s Xlear

 

I hate giving my kids medicines that are full of chemicals. It seems wrong somehow, so I am always searching for better ways to help them get over colds, the flu, and all the other childhood illnesses. That is why I was eager to try out Kid’s Xlear.

Nasal sprays are some of the most common over the counter cold remedies, but they can often contain chemicals that are hazardous to kiddos. Kid’s Xlear (pronounced CLEAR) Nasal spray includes the active ingredient Xylitol. Xylitol is all natural, and has been clinically proven to ease nasal discomfort; it looks and tastes like sugar, and has been recommended by dentists as a sweetener for those worried about dental decay.

 

Victoria is usually the one who manages to get a nose full of gunk and I am forever having to find something to do about it. I have used netty pots and even had her bend over in the hot shower so she could clear her sinuses out. With Kid’s Xlear it was super was super to use. She didn’t even complain the whole time.

The makers of Kid’s Xlear also make dental products such as gum, toothpaste and the such. We got some gum to try out and I must say that it really didn’t taste as bad as I thought it would. I felt comfortable giving it to the kids. The taste lasted for several hours and it helps give you fresher breath.

We also received some of their Xylo-Sweet which is a sweetener. I will tell you that we didn’t try this instead I gave it to my aunt who has diabetes and she said was great. she used it in her coffee and it didn’t make her sugar get all out of control.
