Movie Reviews: Kiara the Brave and Space Dogs

Jul. 28, 2012

Kiara the Brave and Space Dogs

I was sent these movies from Phase4films.com to watch with my children. These two are the first in several movies that we were lucky enough to review. There is something for everyone so stay tuned for all the reviews. All of the titles are  available at Target, Walmart or online at Amazon.

Kiara the Brave

About the Movie:

Dreamzone has been a peaceful and a magical kingdom under the rule of King Maximus. That’s about to change when he is captured and imprisoned by his evil brother Dreadmis. When Dreadmis unleashes his vengeance upon the kingdom, the King’s daughter, courageous Princess Kiara must conquer evil and restore harmony in Dreamzone. Together with her best friend Super Kloud, they embark on a magical journey to protect their Kingdom and bring the rightful owner back to the throne.

My Thoughts:

This was a cute little movie that Victoria really liked but she said it was geared a little more towards younger kids. It is the classic story of a princess and all she goes through. It was not my favorite movie of the bunch but is something you can put on for the kids and they will enjoy it. There is a little violence in this movie which gives it the PG rating it has.

 Space Dogs

 About the Movie:

The exciting, animated tale based on the true story of Belka and Strelka; two Russian dogs sent to space in 1960. A circus dog and a stray dog embark on an out-of-this-world adventure to become the world’s most famous canine cosmonauts!

My Thoughts:

This was one of our favorite movies out of all of them. It was so wonderful and  has everything you want in a family movie from lovable characters and great songs topped off with beautiful happy end. The kids have watched it several times already they enjoyed it so much. The animation in this is great and it is the perfect family fun movie.
