Psychologist Jessica LeFave isn’t your average shrink.When Jessica is summoned to profile the killer who drove a spike through the heart of the infamous Bernice Jackson. Jessica is excited. Of course not because Bernice is dead, but because Bernice (who is infamous for re-writing treasured historical Texas events into porn novels and movies) was a psychiatry patient of her husband’s at the time of his death.

Jessica is convinced her husband was murdered. Since he was pulled from the bottom of Lake Austin with a hotel receipt and another woman s wedding rings in his pocket Jessica has been a little crazy.

Barbara DeShong PH.D.,P.C. Weaves a strange and compelling novel. I couldn’t put it down. You find yourself enthralled and will never want to put it down. These people are crazy. I’m talking Norman Bates crazy. It is one of the best book I’ve read recently.
