Where has the Week Gone?

Mar. 24, 2021

Good Lord it’s almost Friday! Where in the world has the week gone? I feel as though I have been working overtime yet haven’t gotten anything done. I have but nowhere near as much as I wanted to get done. This week has been full of doctor’s appointments for half the house it seems. Sam has finally seen the last of his treatments for now and we are waiting to see if they worked.

However the senior citizens have both had appointments everyday this week. Thank goodness I have them at the same doctors’ offices. Of course Friday they have to get their first covid vaccines as does Same. I can’t get mine just yet and neither can the other kids but we are on the waiting list for our local pharmacy for when they get more. For the ones getting them on Friday luckily the healthcare system they use offered appointments once they were available so that is good.

Ma has another appointment with her girly doctor as she calls her that morning. She also has to go get her yearly mammogram soon as do I. I had one single appointment this month and it was with my eye doctor. I have a whole story about that which I will be sharing with y’all soon. I just wanted to catch up a little with y’all cause I feel as though I haven’t done much here. My assistant has been working away and I have missed getting to work more on my articles.

I do have some giveaways and other things coming up soon though and I promise y’all are going to love them. I also am doing Friday Cocktails this week. I missed the last couple just from being busy. The funny thing was I had a plan for how this month was going to go and it went the way of the Dodo (bird) the first week. It ain’t easy being a single mom but I swear when you add in a senior caregiver (make that two seniors) and there are weeks when I am ready to pull my hair out by the fistful.
