4boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)thighs are more flavorful
2tbspolive oil
2tbspbutterreal butter (it tastes better)
4clovesgarlic, minced
1tsppaprika
1tspItalian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2cupchicken broth
1/2lemon - just the Juice
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Season both sides of the chicken with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chicken and cook for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.In the same skillet, reduce heat slightly and add the butter and minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to combine and scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
Let it simmer for a few minutes to absorb the flavors.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
