Disclosure Policy

Dear Reader,

Rita Reviews  is a personal blog, written and edited by me, with the occasional Guest Blogger. I do, at times, accept forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation including products for review.

This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards. I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. The compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog, but never my opinions. That content, advertising space or post will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content.

I am sometimes compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. Even though I receive compensation or free product(s) for these posts or advertisements, I always give my honest opinion, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

Google/FTC Policy

Please Note: It is violation of federal law for paid links to be listed without telling my readers. The FTC is cracking down not only on bloggers but brands and companies alike for violation of this law.  Also ALL paid links MUST be nofollow as Google will strip no only me but your brand and company of our rankings for violation of this policy. In the past I have offered dofollow links however I do NOT anymore and all links have been made nofollow. Finally the only way to have a Facebook like as an entry requirement is if the giveaway uses Rafflecopter. I use Rafflecopter to manage all of my giveaways but the Facebook like cannot be the mandatory entry.

Data Gathering Policy

Please note that we track and collect data such as age, gender, etc. Collecting this data gives us the demographic information we need to find products and items that fit within not only our lives but the lives of our readers as well. For example if we are working with a company on wine they may want to see that our readers are over 21. We never share any ip addresses or personal information. All information is gathered by Google Analytics and placed in reports for us.

All policies and disclosures are valid from January 1, 2016 to present.
