Ready Pac is celebrating the convenience of its Bistro Bowl Salad line and rewarding fans via The Ready Pac Bistro® Bowl Salads On-the-Go Challenge social media contest. The program will take place during the four-week period of July 2 through July 27, 2012.

Ready Pac Bistro® Bowl Salads fans enter the contest by submitting a photo featuring one of many convenient Bistro Bowl salads while on-the-go or in a favorite travel destination. There are three methods of entry: by tweeting the photo to @ReadyPacTweets, posting on Ready Pac’s Facebook Wall (ReadyPacFoods), or emailing to offers@readypac.com. In an interesting twist, fans also are invited to digitally place their favorite Ready Pac Bistro® Bowl Salad into a favorite travel photo, making the contest limited only by the imagination.

 

“The Ready Pac Bistro® Bowl Salad On-the-Go Challenge contest showcases how easy it is to enjoy our bowl salads wherever you are,” said Tristan Simpson, director of marketing at Ready Pac. “Fans can have fun creating the photos, and ultimately they will decide who wins the grand prize.”

 

Ready Pac’s delicious salads can provide significant time savings and, with fewer than 300 calories each, they also offer healthy alternatives for lunch. Many fans regularly take them to work or enjoy them on the run. The promotion encourages consumers to consider other places where a tasty, ready-to-eat complete salad would be handy, such as on planes and trains, at soccer and baseball games, at the beach, on a hike, or wherever they need a convenient, delicious salad meal.

 

The social media contest will be promoted on the company’s website, Facebook and Twitter (@ReadyPacTweets). Each week for four weeks Ready Pac will choose one winner who will receive a case of their favorite Bistro Bowl Salads, a Ready Pac insulated lunch bag and a chip clip. Then fans will vote on the overall best photo grand prize winner, who will receive a $150 gas gift card to help with a busy, on-the-go lifestyle.

 

Ready Pac recently introduced three tasty new varieties to the bowl salad line: Asian-Style Chicken, Mediterranean, and Caesar Lite, for a total of 12 convenient choices. All Ready Pac Bistro® Bowl Salads are ready to eat and include both a single serving of dressing and a fork, making it easy for consumers to take the salads on-the-go.
