As the holiday season gets closer many of us are taking care of…”business.” I don’t really wax my bikini area most of the time but when the holidays get near I do. The reason is less to with the holidays and more with they remind me that my anniversary is near and hubby and I are planning a trip this year. The few (and I mean few) times I have taken on this task the pain has been enough to make me cuss like a sailor. For all you women you do this regularly my hats off you. Enter Bare Ease, they have a product that takes away that pain and makes the entire experience more bearable.
From Bare Ease Website:
Just like most women, Dr. Edna Ma found bikini waxing to be a painful experience. With that in mind, she used her knowledge and experience in anesthesiology to create a kit that will lessen the pain and anxiety that comes with bikini waxing. She formulated a cream that can numb your skin and enable estheticians to give you as painless bikini hair removal available without a prescription. A topical numbing cream makes more sense than orally administered painkillers (like acetaminophen or ibuprofen), because the effect is isolated to the applied area. Dr. Ma developed the cream formulation that safely numbs your bikini area prior to waxing, to prepare you for painless hair removal. Lidocaine, the active ingredient in BareEase & Cream, is also the most commonly used local anesthetic.
TESTING Bare Ease:
I tell you all that I was so super skeptical and I have super sensitive skin so this was s true test. What you do is apply the pain-relieving cream to your bikini area then you slip on the panty which isolates the cream. You go about your normal activities for 30 minutes then you are ready for waxing. The panty is a one size fits most and I found it fit my big booty with no problem. I must say that this worked much better than I thought it would. While it did not eliminate the pain all together it did make it much more manageable. Trust me, I am the woman who has to sit down and cry when she gets a paper cut. I don’t do pain at all!
PROS of Bare Ease:
- It works
- I would use it more often as it allows me to be much more comfortable with waxing
CONS of Bare Ease:
- If you have never had a bikini wax before I suggest you get one without Bare Ease and then the next one with Bare Ease. Did you find any cons? Me neither.
