It’s time to shop for the outdoor lover in your life! I will admit that I enjoy shopping for outdoor stuff and not because I enjoy it so much. There are things I love about being outdoors and other things that I hate. There is something though about shopping and seeing all of the camping equipment. I always have such plans and hopes.
Sadly, a lot of those plans never turn out the way I hope. They also never end up like in the movies unless you are talking about one of the boring camping trips, the crazy, and I may have had a brush or two with the horror genre of camping. At least, that is how it felt to me! Check out a few of my favorites to conquer the great outdoors!
- YETI Hopper Backpack Cooler: I like this cooler because I can carry it on my back when needed. It is one of my favorite camping coolers. I actually have a larger YETI for when we need it but for a quick weekend trip nearby this is the cooler I use.
- Baden Champions Series Bocce Ball Set: We actually use this in our backyard and take it with us camping sometimes. We love playing although I’m sure we don’t play correctly. We just make up our own rules as we go.
- Darian Shirt: This shirt is simply one of the best. It works well for the winter months but is light enough that those who light to cover their arms could wear in the summer. Check out my review here.
- Coleman 2 Burner Propane Camp Stove: We have two of these. One is for camping and the other for when the electricity goes out in storms. Because we are total electric we can’t cook if we lose power during storms. This has been a life saver. We can still go outside and cook on the back porch. it means not having to go out and drive around looking for places that are open.
- Osprey Poco LT Child Carrier: This is my favorite child carrier and one I use. There is so much to love about tis carrier but for hiking this is the on. I loved that there was a cover to protect their little faces and eyes. Sam would fall asleep in this every time we put him it. Now, Noah is out like a light when we hike in this.
- Faran Sport Shirt: This is another amazing shirt that I had the privilege of reviewing. You can read the review here.
- Lodge 12″ Cast Iron Skillet: My favorite cast iron skillet. I actually have three of these. One in the kitchen, one in my when the power goes out kit, and one in my camping gear.
- Coleman Pack-Away Kitchen: Yet another favorite I would be lost without this kitchen when we camp. I can hang a lantern for light. Not to mention there is space for everything. It keeps things all in one place and not scattered.
- Field & Stream Collapsible Sink: I several these as well. I use them not for doing the dishes when camping but at home I have one for my fresh fruits and veggies. I can put them straight from the garden into this and wash them. I use one for light laundry when cleaning. I have kids, they get stains and that has to be soaked or at the least washed out or it can be ruined.
Christmas Gifts Outdoor Lover
Shopping for the outdoor lover can be easy and fun. Pretty much walk into the outdoor section of any store and there are hundreds of items that we love. However, ask what brands they like, what they may need. Trust me this will help you narrow things down a bit.
Either way, I hope these inspire you when giving gifts to the outdoor lover in your life. I always try to pick versatile items that he or she can use over and over and will really enjoy.
