Summer is in full swing,in fact in a few weeks it will be nothing more than a distant memory. We have been having as much fun as we can. My favorite thing so far has been walking to the pool and swimming. We live near a state park and it has a wonderful pool that we swim in. Having fun with the kids is always important for us during the summer.
We allow the kids to stay up later than usual and they get to watch much more television during the summer than they ever do during the school year. We even allow them to decide what we will do three days each week which means we may do anything from playing dress up to going fishing. Kids are so funny, the temperatures have been over 100 and they still run, play, and have a good time. My fun stops as so I start to sweat.

We live in a tourist town so we love to do tourist things. We love to go to the beach, water park, zoo and stroll the boardwalk at night 🙂
The kids are grown and moved away but my husband and I take drives down by the river with our 2 dogs and go out to eat for fun.
