THE BIBLE is an epic 10-hour television series produced by Roma Downey (Touched By an Angel) and Mark Burnett (The Voice, Survivor, Shark Tank, Celebrity Apprentice) premiering on 3/3/13 on History Channel, and Blu-ray and DVD soon after. Downey plays Mother Mary and Emmy-winner Keith David provides voice-overs throughout. Oscar- and Grammy-award winning composer Hans Zimmer created the musical score to the iconic saga.

This is one of those series that could be really good or really bad. There’s usually no in-between options for Biblical retellings. I’m looking forward to, if it’s good… 🙂
The trailer looks wonderful! I am a big movie junkie and one of my favorite movies to watch are the epic religious ones. A few of my favorites are Jesus of Nazareth, The Robe, The Ten Commandments, and Ben Hur. A long time ago when movies were made in grand proportions, were these movies made. For that reason, I’m glad to see when a new movie surfaces that is done well, as I can see this one is. Thanks so much for sharing this, I am definately going to have to check it out.
