Wordless Wednesday: It Arrived

Jan. 08, 2014

It Finally Arrived!

If you followed me before Christmas you know that there was an issue with FedEx getting a present to me on time. It finally arrived, late I might add, but it got here. When I called this morning, the supervisor told me the problem was the driver didn’t have directions to my house. He said that the driver now had the proper directions and would be there. When it arrived it was the same driver that always comes to the house and he said it was on the wrong truck. Who knows but my mom finally got the present she wanted!

What a beautiful TV stand. I presume that was the gift. Silly Fed Ex driver I guess he didn’t remember how to get to your house.

Well someone wasn’t telling the truth. Personally I’d believe the driver. Ours is great. What a nice daughter you are! I’m glad your mom was happy.

I saw this a while ago on my feed and was so glad to see you finally got it. My FedEx man called the other day and I ran down to let him in (locked apts). He couldn’t wait and ran up, us missing each other. That’s happened so many times, ugh. Oh well. Love it too!

I remember reading your post about the FedEx package getting lost. I’m happy to hear, however, that they finally found your correct address and had it delivered. That was a long wait for a package. Did FedEx apologize or offer some kind of compensation? I really hope they did!

I totally remember how upset you were that they were giving you the run around. I can’t believe they never told you what really happened. At least you got it and your mother loves it. Better late then never. 🙂

That IS a nice gift! I had one gift from a reputable national online store send my gift to OHIO. And said it was delivered here in Wisconsin AND had a signature for someone that was not me obviously…was a name of someone who does not even live around here. Finally after many tries to deliver in OHIO the item was supposedly taken to the storefront as a mis delivery. I was more upset that someone had all my package info than anything. and the company said that what probably happened was someone stole it off my porch. I had to investigate my self and found the package had gone to another state (called Fed Ex). The company did not want to take responsibility and tell me the truth…they lied. I did complain as I did not think it right to make a person feel violated that someone might be stealing from their porch, and the company did make some restitutution by getting the item replacement here by the time I needed it, Plus gave me $25 credit. I just wanted an apology and the truth. Never asked for anything more.
