That Dream

Have you ever had a dream that just sticks with you. I mean you wake up and it felt so real? I have been having the same dream for a few nights. I always wake up at the same time and point in the dream. Hubby is working out-of-town and he should be thankful because if not I would probably wake up and punch him. SO I am going to share this dream with you and you are all going to think I am crazy but hey.

Keeping the Love Spicy

Don’t worry I am not going to get graphic with here. As you all know that hubby and I don’t get to spend every single day together because he works out-of-town some. What that does mean is that we have to work twice as hard to keep the love spicy between us. When he comes home the last thing is wants to hear about all the stuff that has gone wrong or needs to be fixed.

The Weekend With The In-Laws (#LizClaiborne)

The one thing that I have learned, over the weekend more than ever, is that no matter what your plan when you throw in a Latino family there is no telling what is going to happen. My in-laws were going to arrive from Mexico last Saturday and we were going to meet them in Atlanta and then go to a restaurant because we thought it would be easier. They decided it would be better to come to my house and have dinner there.

Before I tell you their reaction to my outfit I want to thank all of you for helping me choose my outfit. I also want to thank jcpenny and Liz Claiborne for making sure that this day go off without a hitch. It is the day I have been dreading for the entire length of my marriage. I have so worried about what they would think of me.

Reader’s Choice {Vote on which Outfit #ClaiborneClasico}

Shopping for my outfits at jcpenny was so much fun! I took my mom with me and she helped select the complete outfits, although there were a few things she suggested that was more old lady than me but not to worry. I decided that I would put together one casual chic outfit and one classic dressy outfit. Liz Claiborne has so many wonderful things to choose from that I had a really hard time deciding.

Outfit #1 is my casual chic outfit. Since I am a big gal I know that black makes me look a bit slimmer and while I wanted a fall sort of look I knew that at the end of October in Georgia can still be pretty warm. The top is a 3/4 Sleeve Striped Tunic (online the shell underneath is white but in the store it is black.) I thought I had grabbed the XL but grabbed a Large which surprising fit well. The jeans are Liz Claiborne Secretly Slender. Now these didn’t come in a petite, although she has plenty of jeans that do. I simply liked these the best and my mom hemmed them as she does most of my pants. The shoes I am wearing are also Liz Claiborne and I will tell you all about them in a minute.

Outfit #2 is my classic dressy outfit and I hope I managed to really capture that. Again I started with a black base and then added a pop of color. The skirt is Liz Claiborne Essential Skirt in black pinstripe. This skirt is perfect for all sorts of occasions. You can really see the shoes better in this picture and as I mentioned there are by Liz! They are here Sylvia Leather Wedge in black and I am so loving them! They were a happy accident! The pop of color I added was the red Cap Sleeve Pleated Neck Top because I felt that it really made the skirt look more sophisticated without looking to formal or business like.

jcpenny and Liz Claiborne have done a wonderful job of bringing together style, function, and quality all with a great price. Liz Claiborne is available exclusively at jcpenny and she makes looking good effortless while jcpenny makes it easy on your wallet.

Now that you have seen both outfits I will leave it up to all of you as to which outfit I will be wearing. Remember I am meeting my in-laws for the very first time and I want to make a good impression. I don’t know how they will all be dressing which only makes it all the worst for me. So you decide Outfit #1 or Outfit # 2. The outfit with the most votes  will be the winner and I will post pictures of the event.

Vote for the outfit you think I should wear and tell me which is your favorite item I bought! I included links to the pieces from my outfits but be sure to visit jcpenney  for more classic pieces.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of jcpenney. The opinions and text are all mine.
